Bitmap in the Morning

Its been a while since my last update, because, well-- I've been quite busy. This small exercise I did was to create a bitmap font (the original pixel font we used in computers). This was a lot of fun because I used a 10x10 grid and coffee beans. I figured I'd relate the word conceptually, and well this phrase happens to be the most important thing in my ongoing relationship with coffee.

I for a coffee bean bitmap I wanted to create a Serif typeface that is sophisticated with a hint of energy- just like any hipster hanging out at the local coffee shop at 9 pm.
